In anticipation of Mother’s Day, Black Girls Link (BGL) and Always A Queen: The Metamorphosis are teaming together to host the “Healing the Black Mother Wound: Two-Day Virtual Healing Retreat” on April 25 and 26, 2026. The retreat is a two-day virtual healing retreat designed specifically for Black women who want to better understand the emotional patterns rooted in their relationships with their mothers and begin reclaiming their emotional autonomy.
Through guided discussion, psychoeducation, reflection, and healing practices, participants will explore how intergenerational trauma impacts identity, relationships, boundaries, and self-worth.
This retreat is not about blaming mothers.
It is about breaking cycles, honoring truth, and creating new pathways for healing.
This retreat is for Black women who:
• Feel unresolved pain connected to their relationship with their mother
• Struggle with boundaries, people-pleasing, or emotional exhaustion
• Want to understand how intergenerational trauma impacts their lives
• Desire deeper emotional healing and self-compassion
• Are ready to begin breaking cycles for themselves and future generations
Early bird tickets end on March 29, 2026, so be sure to get them before it’s too late. We also have a limited number of discounted Scholarship tickets for participants who would otherwise be unable to attend. Apply for the Scholarship ticket using the link in the bio!
