BGL + Juno : Student Loan Debt Freedom

Black women bear the largest burden in the student loan debt crisis, as we are forced to take on higher student debt loads, all while navigating a persistent wage gap that allows Black women to earn just 61 cents to every dollar earned by a white man. These are systemic barriers that make it significantly more challenging to repay this debt. Thus, it’s vital for us to look for alternative ways for us to achieve student loan debt freedom.

Black Girls Link (BGL) is teaming up with Juno, formerly known as LeverEdge, to teach us how to get out of student loan debt faster and lower our monthly student loan payments. Juno uses the power of group buying to negotiate lower rates on student loans. They’ve helped thousands of members secure low-interest rates on student federal AND private loans that will help graduates and professionals to reach their career and financial goals.

From Law and MBA programs to medical school, Juno has been able to give members a piece of their financial future back. Making steps to become free of student loan debt is one of the biggest financial decisions of your life and you don’t have to go it alone. Join us on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 7 PM EST on Zoom and learn how to refinance your student loans to get out of debt faster!
